More Canadian RV snowbirds this year?
We received this email from RVtravel.com reader Diane Stephenson. Can you answer her question?
We are Canadian snowbirds and have just done a few months around Mesa, Arizona and are now in Hemet, California. We have never seen so many Canadians down here. The park we are staying in, Golden Valey Palms in Hemet, is 80 percent Canadians. I wonder if you have heard any more about this Canadian invasion. We have been coming down south every year for the past five years, and this is the first time we have seen the numbers of Canadians in the RV parks.

We are in Lake Elsinore California, and the closest we have to Canadian snowbirds are us. We are Alaskan snowbirds!
Never thought of it until now, but, yes, there are a lot of Canadians at our RV resort--Desert Shadows in Cathedral City. Next door to us was a couple from BC who not only love our weather but love to shop here where clothing, for example, is much less expensive. Now if they'd just buy our RV lot...
We are from Missouri and after this winter we are thinking of becoming a snowbird next winter. We are new at this need all the info we can get. Where is best cheapest place to go. Are their security in the campgrounds. Thanks for all your help.
