Want a heater in your RV? Then prepare to pay extra!

We received this from RVtravel.com reader Robert Russell of Athol, New York. He wrote:

Over the years, I have been a collector of automotive sales literature and I recently came across this one for a 1963 Dodge motorhome which I thought might be of interest to you and/or your readers, as it is quite interesting.

It was priced at $9,500, had a 318 c.i. engine and most everything was an option including heater and defroster for the cab. (That was the way it was back in '63, remember?). They even charged you extra for the storage compartments underneath and had a gas light option (whatever that was).

How things have changed!
